And Mr. Kneale, if you are reading this know that anonymity on the web is paramount to security, and is therefore the generally accepted culture. For a blogger to not practice this level of security puts at risk not only themselves but their reader’s who would likely follow suit at their own risk. You should know that. But it seems you don’t, and that tells me you’re not as up to date on the reality of modern day business and communication as you should be to do your job. But kudos to you for your tit-for-tat name calling “win” against what could very well be a kid typing from their mom’s basement or from their first dorm room.

Now, we all know you’re trying to demonstrate a thick-skinned, hard-hitting guru persona, being relatively new to the “Power Lunch” show. Too bad you missed the chance to play this opportunity to that end.

What could have been a good strategy to open up to viewers and dispel nay-sayers’ evidently all too hurtful words, was instead a demonstration of your lack of professionalism and inability to spin the situation to your benefit, and your lack of understanding of the online world (which has been in public operation for roughly 20 years, by the way…).

It’s “professional news anchors” like you, with missed opportunities to prove their worth such as this, that are killing the old format of news media via TV and newsprint, and giving rise to the new one on the web – blogs. Sure some are shit. But, so are some TV shows…
