Steve you are out of line, you go through every post and comment, with terrible language I might add, and throw out absurd arguments and insults without any facts. You also fail to see what we are doing here. You are right we do have an agenda, to help people pick the right VA for them. We sell no product only information. The facts are the facts, EIA's are not the end all cure all like you think they are. As far as selling more VA's than Annuity IQ you are probably right, we do not sell annuities. However, the founders have sold hundreds of millions in VA's over their careers. The only one out of line is you. You show up and leave nasty messages and can't take it when you are rebutted. I guess you can dish it, but cannot take it.

Steve,

Re-read the post, it was anti-Money Magazine as they do not understand the product. As far as EIA's being better than VA's, no they are not, period. Monthly averaging, caps, spreads, hidden fees and the long surrender schedule with the occasional mandatory annuitization prove the point for me. Sorry Steve, but EIA's were developed to have people who do not have a 6 or 7 to sell an equity linked product. The fact of the matter is EIA's BARELY outperform traditional fixed products and that is a fact.

Dear ADMIN, furthermore annuities have been around 2000 years, but in most centuries didnt have little girly features like 10 per cent free w/ds and surrender schedules....either you believe in annuitization or you should be selling something else..

Why is the only litmus surrender. I dont understand you-you yourself 'de facto' sound like MONEY MAGAZINE...at some future point the client will annuitize..if not why did he or she buy the thing in the first place???..Ive sold tens of millions of VAs and they almost all are terrible, even the worst EIAs are better....maybe you dont know this but the NASD (now FINRA) hates VAs...

I do not believe you understand variable annuities. While variable annuities do offer death benefits, they also offer living benefits. As the term "living benefit" suggests you can be alive to realize them.

I never claimed to be an expert at EIA's, but what I do know is what sounds too good to be true usual is. I also know that 10% bonuses, monthly averaging, spreads 10 year (or longer) surrender schedules all stink. If these products are SOOO good then why do states sue the insurers? Enough said. Thanks and come again.

I don't even think you understand Equity-Indexed annuities. The problem with most variable annuities, is that sure they offer you much more upside potential at the risk of total downside potential. In order to get your money back, you have to DIE! to use the life insurance they are charging you for. ...
