ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, Calif. -- The Avenue of the Peninsula is pleased to announce the opening of Kishmir Boutique, an upscale women's boutique showcasing designer collections, luxury sportswear, handbags, accessories and jewelry. The first Kishmir Boutique opened at The Peaks Resort & Spa in Telluride, Colorado in 2000 - but when owner Bushra Ahmed relocated to California, she brought her popular women's store with her.

Kishmir Boutique carries some of today's most stylish looks and hottest styles from labels such as Votre Nom, Theory, Cambio, Johnny Was, Margaret O'Leary, Essendi, Hard Tail Jeans and True Grit. Additionally, Kishmir Boutique offers a full line of accessories and designer jewelry including handmade pieces from esteemed designer Michal Negrin, and handbags by Dulce Bags.

"The Avenue is in such a unique location," said Bushra Ahmed, owner of Kishmir Boutique. "We thought our collection of quality designer products would be a great fit for the surrounding community."

The new retailer will open at The Avenue in a 1,500-square-foot space on the second level, adjacent to Ann Taylor.

The Avenue is a three-level, 374,000-square-foot, pedestrian-friendly, open-air specialty retail center, with more than 50 stores and restaurants including Borders Books & Music, Saks Fifth Avenue, and a state-of-the-art 13-screen Regal Cinemas Theater. Parking is free and available immediately adjacent to shops and restaurants.

The Avenue of the Peninsula is located in Rolling Hills Estates on Silver Spur Road between Hawthorne and Crenshaw Boulevard. It is accessible from Crenshaw or Hawthorne Boulevard exits off of the 405 freeway, or from the Pacific Coast Highway exit off of the Harbor 110 freeway.
